Day To Day Descriptions
Day 01 :
Arrival and transfer to the hotel
- Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative and drive to the hotel for relaxation, dinner and the night as you prepare for the next day’s activities. Stay at Lake Victoria Serena golf resort for luxury, Kaazi beach resort for mid-range and budget.
- Meals: Dinner.
Day 02 :
Entanda Cultural Village (approx.85km) and Transfer to Kibale National Park (Approx. 309km)
- After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to Mityana at Entanda cultural village. Upon your arrival, you will participate in different cultural activities for example men will be given sticks and embark on hunting activity, women will remain preparing food for men, cultural dance, harvesting fresh fruits, etc. you will enjoy lunch at Entanda and later on transfer to Kibale National Park.
- Upon your arrival at Kibale National, you will check into your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and the night. Stay at Turaco Tree Tops for luxury, Isunga lodge for mid-range and Rwenzori view guest house for budget.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 03 :
Kibale National Park (Chimpanzee trekking and Community walk)
- After breakfast, head to the Kanyanchu Visitor Center on time for a briefing at 08:00am for chimpanzee trekking.
- Here, you will learn about the dos and don'ts while in the forest searching for chimpanzees. Kibale Forest is home to 13 primate species, earning it the title of the primate capital of the world.
- During your trek, which lasts two to three hours, you are likely to encounter the chimpanzees as they move and interact in their natural habitat. You will also have the opportunity to observe various bird species and a variety of butterflies.
- After chimpanzee tracking, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
- After lunch and relaxation, you will visit the nearby community to gain insight on the ways of life of the local community leaving around Kibale National Park.
- Return back to your lodge for dinner and the beautiful night.

Day 04 :
Bigodi nature walk and a visit to the crater lakes.
- After enjoying breakfast, you will embark on the Bigodi Walk where you will encounter monkeys and a diverse array of birdlife.
- After this wonderful experience, you will return back to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation and later on you will visit the crater lakes.
- These crater lakes are magnificent natural features that were formed by volcanic processes. Explore the crater lakes for an exhilarating array of wildlife, history and culture attached to these water bodies. You will later on return back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and the beautiful night.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 05 :
Departure (approx.358km) and Fort Portal Exploration.
- After enjoying an early morning breakfast, you will bid farewell to Kibale National Park and embark on the journey back to Entebbe. En route, make a fascinating stop at Fort Portal, a picture square town nestled in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains.
- Visit the stunning Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves, featuring breathtaking stalactites and stalagmites. Learn about the local legend surrounding the caves and marvel at the natural beauty.
- Following this captivating experience, you will have lunch at a local restaurant and later on continue to Entebbe for your departure flight or to your chosen location, carrying unforgettable memories of Uganda’s diverse landscapes, vibrant culture, and incredible wildlife.
